Morro Bay, California
I'm aware this image is fairly ho-hum but I can't help being drawn to it despite it's averageness. I went right past it the first time I went through my vacation photos. Then on the second pass, I stopped, converted it to black and white and then I couldn't stop looking at it. It has a timelessness to it that has quietly taken hold of my imagination.
Wearing white pedal pushers, a black and white horizontal striped three-quarter sleeve jersey blouse and Jackie-O sunglasses, I imagine myself boarding one of these lovely sailboats (the bigger one, of course) to sail off to a small island for a week of fun and frolic.
Well, I can dream, can't I?
