{ Life with a Dog #25 } The case of the disappearing toy box...
This is the scene in I came home to a little bit ago…
When she realized I was home, she got up and moved a little bit away.
Yup, she knew she did a no-no. I didn't even have to say anything.
"I didn't do it!"
This, by the way, is the replacement toy chest. It used to hold my firewood. It held my firewood faithfully for nearly 6 years. It did not deserve this fate. Neither did the plastic bin that was her previous toy chest up til about a month ago, when she chewed through the last remaining "rib" holding the entire thing together.
Grrrrr. Arrrrrgh.
"Ok! I did it! I'm so ashamed …"
Anyone have suggestions for a "puppy-proof" toy chest? One that won't look tastier than her chew toys?

I adore Starbuck. Your dog has the sweetest, most expressive face. It's hard to be angry at a face like that!
